Episode 2: Google Talk

Thursday, September 1st, 2005

No Cost / Free Recommendation:
Google Talk

Reason:
Wow! Google is taking over the world. This is my second free recommendation from Google. They just never cease to amaze. Google Talk combines good, simple and solid instant messaging with voice over IP (computer to computer) chatting. It sounds really good, it is easy to use, I like it.

Alot of people have commented on its limited, minimal feature interface. That is a big part of what I love about it. It is simple enough for my mom to use.

Episode 2: Gmail

Wednesday, August 31st, 2005

Google mail, better known as Gmail, is a great way to spend nothing. It is an email client, and in my opinion, is the best one out there. It is incredibly user friendly. There is 1GB of free storage, so you dont have to delete anything. It uses Google technology so you can search your mail fast and easy to find whatever email you are looking for, whether it has been sent or recieved.

The only setback is that you must be invited by someone already using Gmail in order to use the service. However, ask around. I am sure there are plenty of open invites out there (I personally have 49).
