Under $500 Recommendation:
Samsung Color Laser Printer (Model CLP-510)
Available at Bestbuy for $399 before a $100 rebate.
Reason:
Laser printers are considerably better than inkjet. The quality is better and it provides a cleaner more professional look. Overall the cost of ownership is lower than that with an inkjet, when you consider the cost of ink cartridges versus toner.
I checked this one out at Bestbuy and even on cheap 20lb paper. I would recommend it as a good printer for at home. Additionally you can set it up for wireless network printing with an add-on.
So much fun for such a low price: Get a Memorex Karaoke System with a built in monitor + a couple CD’s for under $100 at Target!
Fun or dangerous for a college house? muahahaha. Contact me for details

The whole deal is rather complex, so I’m going to let you listen to the discussion in the podcast if you’re interested in this topic.
A few recommendations that were made were:
Norton Anti-Virus
McAfee Anti-Virus.
